Mike brings a behavioral economics lens and 10 years of experience in public affairs, advocacy, and political campaigning to his role as Director of Advocacy at Marketing for Change. At M4C, Mike helps clients build trust with, and provide as much value as possible to, policymakers and their constituents.

In his previous role as Head of Outreach at Atlantic Media, Mike recruited thousands of senior policymakers across the country to advise Fortune 500 companies and top-tier associations on the most effective components of federal, state and local advocacy. He has also helped clients such as Google, Amazon, and Verizon deploy winning public affairs strategies to solve complex political and policy challenges.

Mike most recently served as Voter Activation Director with the Biden for President/Democratic Party of Wisconsin coordinated campaign, where he designed and implemented in-person engagement opportunities to drive early voting and media coverage.

Mike holds a Master’s of Public Policy and a Master’s of Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, where he concentrated in the economics of criminal justice. He has also served as a Government Innovation Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he advised the City of Baltimore and State of Maryland on attracting outside investment for critical social services.
