Director of Advocacy
Marketing for Change Co., a national research and creative agency focused on changing behavior using the tools of social psychology and behavioral economics, is seeking a leader for its growing advocacy practice. Founded 15 years ago, M4C has created some of the nation’s most memorable behavior-change campaigns with goals such as reducing fertilizer use, preparing for a pandemic and avoiding sugary drinks. Increasingly, we’re applying our methodology to policy change and we’re seeking someone with a passion for making a difference and experience running progressive issues campaigns to lead our new advocacy practice area.
Candidates should have at least five years experience in politics and advocacy, preferably working at the state or national level on issue campaigns funded by progressive organizations. The successful candidate will not only have experience planning and executing issue campaigns, but also be willing to build upon that foundation by becoming steeped in M4C’s unique methods and the foundational theories of social psychology and behavioral economics. This will be a senior leadership position at the firm and be responsible for expanding our advocacy work with new organizations and causes.
